BMW NBT To Start the Navigation Please Enter the Activation Code

By in Articles | 2 comments

This is usually an issue which occurs after a map update of the Europe Next or North America Next maps (on NBT Units). After the update is completed to 100%, the unit will restart and it will ask for the activation code, saying to start the navigation, please enter the activation code, which is different from the actual map activation code. Tha navigation will be disabled until this code is typed in. If you input the map activation code, nothing will happen, it will just ask for the code again. We will provide you with the fix to this issue for just $30. For any other issues regarding coding or navigation maps, you can always contact us and we will reply promptly. If you are having this problem, please send us an email to...

Best Quality BMW ENET Cable

By in Articles | 0 comments

The BMW ENET cable is used for F series coding in conjunction with the programming software Esys and the Psdzdata. Here is what you need to know to start your journey in the coding world: – All ENET cables are the same, you don`t need to buy the most expensive one because they all do the same thing. This however doesn`t apply to K+DCAN cables for E series coding because they are completely different. The cable for F series is basicly an ethernet to OBD2 cable – the ethernet end for your laptop and the OBD2 side for your cars connector. Click here to see the price on Amazon The cable from the Amazon is the one we recommend because we tested it and it`s soldered well and never had an issue with it (5 feet lenght). It`s compatible with all BMW F series. TIPS: 1. When connecting to your car through Esys, make sure you set the ignition on without starting the car. This is important because else you won`t have the option to connect through VIN (it will be greyed out under the target menu). 2. When coding make sure you place the laptop on the passenger seat or in your lap without moving around too much. If the your ethernet port is not exactly in tip top shape it could very well move or disconnect. That`s not an issue when not doing any actual coding but could be an issue when esys is writing the values on the module you`re working on. You could corrupt the module data and it`s not the most fortunate of situations. It can be fixed but I don`t think you`ll ever want to get to that point, so always pay attention to what you`re doing. The process is safe but as with anything, it also depends on the user actions. 3. When disconnecting the ethernet port don`t just pull, always press the top side to release it first. Location of the OBD2 port where the BMW ENET cable is connected: Most F series cars will have the OBD2 port under the dash, above the pedals. HU_ENTRY 6NH 6NS Enhanced Bluetooth Coding Error

By in Articles | 0 comments

If you were trying to code 6NS Enhanced Bluetooth on your HU_ENTRY module and got the following error, here is the fix: Service WDBI_PLAIN returned a negative response with response code requestOutOfRange; ECU: HU_ENTRY_63_ETHERNET severity: ERROR This problem occurs if the car you`re trying to programm doesn`t have COMBOX (CMB_MEDIA) module. By modifying the VO FA and replacing the 6NH to 6NS and clicking on “Code” what you did is you basicly corrupted the CAFD of the module. After getting that error, even the Bluetooth and phone list is now gone from your iDrive menu, so you are unable to use it anymore. You will see that also after getting this error you won`t be able to read the coding data or code the module again, it will be inactive in the SVT or ECU list. Step 1 – Take a chill pill and relax, this can be fixed easily Step 2 – Remove 6NS from the FA, add the 6NH like it originally was on your car and go to the VCM master tab to write it to the car. Step 3 – Remain in the VCM section and click to Read I-Levels. Write down the I-Level shown. Step 4 – Go the the Coding Section and Connect => Read FA (VO) => Activate FA (VO) => Read SVT (VCM) => Left-Click on HU_ENTRY => Click on “Detect CAF for SWE” => Select the CAFD from the I-Level you wrote down in step 3 => Select OK => Right-Click on HU_ENTRY (the ECU itself not the underlying CAFD) => Select CODE After Esys has completed the coding process you will have bluetooth and the phone list will be back! BMW F10 Coding with Esys

By in Articles | 0 comments

The all popular NCS EXPERT for the E series chassis has been replaced with Esys, a new software for coding F series BMW models. In this article I will explain how Esys works: The software The psdzdata (sp daten files equivalent for E series) The Software: The Esys main screen: As you can see after a successful installation you will need to connect to your chassis and the fun begins. What is Psdzdata and why it`s important to have the latest version: Psdzdata is used for coding just like NCS EXPERT is using the sp daten so the problem remains the same: when coding a car you must have at least the same or newer data installed in Esys than the ones installed on the car modules. Else it will show an error and won`t let you complete or even read the module. Where to get the latest esys and psdzdata You can get the latest version from Fiverr and you will also have the tutorials and coding list so you can get started right away. Learning how to code Check out our Getting Started page to learn everything step by step and also our Tutorials Section Happy coding!   The CodingF10...
